HRTS (Hyundai Real Time Service)
Hyundai elevator launches the world’s first technology ‘Mobile HRTS’ which interlocks remote control systems with smartphones.

HRTS (Hyundai Real Time Service) is a cutting-edge remote control system which not only gives customers an ability to check the status of their elevators on online (24/7) but also enables service engineers to conduct a safety check and to fix breakdown in real time.

Hyundai Elevator upgraded ‘HRTS’ service with the development of a mobile application interlocking with smartphones. There are two types of applications: 1. Customer, 2. Service engineers to offer suitable information depending on users.

It enables customers to easily monitor the status of elevators, performance reports, customer service requests, and monthly maintenance fee statements on their smartphones. Elevator performance reports offer ‘Elevator travelling time throughout the day’ and ‘the number of breakdown’. This report helps to predict when to exchange elevator parts, thus enhancing the convenience of maintenance and safety.

Additionally, service engineers can offer quicker and better service for customers by reacting to breakdowns more promptly and predicting which parts have to be replaced as they can directly identify elevators’ breakdown, user manual, and elevator floor plan from their smartphones.

The application for service engineers was already released in May this year and already 1,600 engineers are using it. The application for customers will be launched and used by building owners, building managers, and building representatives, under agreement as of 1st June.

The CEO of Hyundai Elevator, Han, Sang-Ho, announced “elevator industry is one of the important service industries and we will endeavor to keep offering a smart service in order to enhance safety and customer satisfaction”.
